Denis Versweyveld - painting, sculpture and drawings
At pine street art works for April and May
Opening reception Friday April 6, 5-8 pm during First Friday Artwalk

Don't miss this opportunity to see Denis Versweyvled's work gathered under one roof. HIs paintings, sculpture and drawings - even those that are very large - are about the intimate, small, daily objects in life - bowls, cooking utensils, fruits. In their seeming simplicity they evoke the infinite in the familiar through the daily interaction with light, shape, color, scale, texture, weight and surface. What Walter Benjamin called The Language of Things speaks eloquently in this body of work.

We've played with the geography at psaw, and switched back for front. Whereas the rotating exhibits used to be in the front, with collections in the back room, it is now the opposite.
Visitors can now can enjoy solo or duo shows in the beauty and intimacy of the back room, while our growing collections are populating the front.
We're still showing work from past and upcoming shows - Cara Barer, David Putnam, Liza Cowan, Marie LaPre Grabon, Alison Bechdel, Kathy Stark and SP Goodman.
We have a new section of mid- 20th century american modern pottery. Haeger and Shawnee are at the heart of the collection, but we are eclectic.

- bamboo
We get more furniture al the time. Here is our bamboo club chair with a collection of vintage needlepoint pillows. All for sale.
Our early 20th century prints collection includes "Perfumeria Ladifver" by De Cidon and a 1917 chromolith triptych by Mary Louise Spoor.
